Divorce is often an emotional time, and working with an objective third party can be beneficial. I help clients resolve issues that must be addressed immediately, but I also encourage clients to seriously consider the long-term ramifications of their choices, which may also involve other professionals. I work with clients and other professionals to address the issues, such as:

• Children: When children are involved in a divorce, the focus needs to be on what is in their best interest. Looking at the children's age, parent interaction and history of parenting, we create a parenting plan that focuses on the changing role both parents will have in raising healthy children. I work with parents to make sure both have a hand in raising the children.
• Finances: During the divorce, I work with accountants and other professionals to handle complex and high-net worth assets. I also work with my clients to ensure they have a plan to survive financially after the divorce. Creativity and a well-planned separation agreement can give you the resources you need in a post-dissolution world.
• Mediation: Before a dissolution is granted, courts require the parties to attend mediation. I will advise you of your rights and provide you with a cost-benefit analysis of coming to a mutually agreed upon settlement. Using mediation to resolve domestic relations matters saves time and money, and it gives you the flexibility to create a solution tailored to your needs.
